Short September

This is turning out to be a very interesting September in the financial world. Most stocks are between 30 to 50 percent of what they were a year ago. And many are still getting shorted down. Yet, it doesn't look like it will end here. I do believe the coming years will be those not leading just into a simple recession but a serious depression. Will elaborate further soon. Meanwhile, hope for a better tomorrow!

A little bit of history

Singapore was founded, or so history claims, by this Englishman named Stamford Raffles. His name is plastered everywhere in Singapore. From schools, to shopping complexes and hotels, to roads, and even commercial companies and hospitals.
Not bad for someone who lived nearly 200 years ago.
Lets turn our heads to Malaysia now.
Its got a nice capital called Kuala Lumpur, founded some years after Singapore.
Its founder was this obscure Chinese chappy by the name of Yap Ah Loy. Quite a big difference. Can't find this guy's name anywhere, except that he has a small road named after him, Jalan Yap Ah Loy. What happened!?!

Mandarin MTV

These days, we don't have that many slow ballad MTVs.
Here's one from years gone by.

Garden vegetables

I was just looking around and thinking to myself. Garden vegetables have many uses.
Like a potato. You can eat it when you're hungry. You can stuff it up the exhaust pipe of the car belonging to anyone you dislike. Heck, you can even carve it!

The Beginning

And yes...it is August 02, 2008. Nothing much, so I decided to start writing something again..
Lets see how this one goes. The old ones were getting way too boring and difficult.
